The Best Mother’s Day Gifts for Millennial Moms

Best Mother’s Day Gifts for Millennial Moms

This Mother’s Day is an interesting one for me. I’m growing this little baby in my belly but I definitely don’t feel like a full-fledged mom yet. However, my Instagram ads have been seriously on point with all of the mama gear and I’ve definitely been taking notes. I hope this round up of the best Mother’s Day gifts for millennial moms helps you treat the badass nurturer in your life (even if that’s you!)

Jewelry:

Gldn Mama Necklace
I may or may not be one of those women who’s hinting to my hubby about wanting a “push present” when this little ones comes out, and this is it. This necklace is gorgeous and dainty. It comes in sterling silver, plated gold, and solid gold, so it’s great for a variety of budgets!

Ana Luisa
I talked about Ana Luisa in my recent Spring Outfits of the Week video and I’m still LOVING the pieces they sent over. They’re doing a special Mother’s Day discount where you can buy one, get one 35% off here.
This mama necklace would make such a cute Mother’s Day gift!

Made by Mary
Made by Mary is the Instagram queen of mom jewelry. Their birth flower necklaces are such a precious and subtle way to celebrate your role as a mama. Need!

Clothing:

Aspen and Company
The cutest matching sets for Mom and baby.

Breath of Youth
For a clothing take that isn’t directly mom-related, try ordering her something off of Breath of Youth. These beautifully whimsical and feminine pieces are so special and well worth the pricetag. I own two Breath of Youth dresses and they’re some of my favorite pieces in my closet!

Flowers:

Farmgirl Flowers
Okay, so I’ve never actually gotten flowers from Farmgirl Flowers before, but it’s on my bucket list to order some before I die. If you’re looking for one of the best mother’s day gifts for millennial moms, this is it! Their arrangements are SO gorgeous and have so much texture and whimsy. WAY better than your standard 1-800-Flowers bouquets. I drool over their arrangements on Instagram daily.

For the Pregnant Mama:

Belly Masks
Did you know that the average human body had 17 square feet of skin, but that number jumps to 18.5 square feet in pregnancy? All that skin stretching= a lot of itching and discomfort for mama. Treat her to a belly sheet mask to help hydrate and soothe her sweet bump with a sheet mask from Hatch!

Alcohol Free Wine
I’m 32 weeks as I’m writing this, and one of the things I miss most about pre-pregnancy is WINE. Total Wine has a lot of alcohol-free variations that I definitely plan on trying out soon!

Books:

In the Company of Women
Badass women in business sharing their spaces and stories. Enough said.

Darling Magazine Subscription
Darling Magazine is SUCH a treat to read. The articles are so inspiring and not only is the photography beautiful, but the images are totally unretouched which is so amazing and important! Plus this magazine was started by an alumnus from my college, so I’ll always be a fan!

The Heart of the Home by Susan Branch
I posted about this cookbook on my Instagram story the other day and people went NUTS! I got it used for just a few dollars on Amazon and the adorable illustrations make it feel like you’re going through your grandma’s recipe card box. So precious!

Water, Flour, Salt, Yeast
Bread baking is all the rage right now. Without sounding TOO hipster (“I liked it before it was cool!”) I went to a sourdough class in August of last year and learning how to bake bread has seriously improved the quality of my life. The process is slow, so it forces me to take a moment and breath while I do something with my hands away from a screen. Self care at its finest! Since we don’t have access to in-person classes right now, I highly recommend this book to get started. It would also be super cute to gift her a sourdough starter if you can find one on Facebook Marketplace and arrange contactless pickup!

Workout Gear:

Tone it Up Weights
At home workouts are all the rage right now since gyms are closed. These weights are so cute that they almost make exercise fun! Seriously! A year’s subscription to the Tone it Up app would also be a great addition to this gift.

Wool Resistance Bands
No more rubber resistance bands rolls up your legs and pinching you! Plus these come in super cute colors which is a huge bonus.

Exercise Ball
An exercise ball is great for an at-home workout or as a substitute for an uncomfortable desk chair if you’re working from home! If you’re gifting to a pregnant mama, she can use this in labor as well!

Beauty:

Olive and June Nail Polish
My love for Olive & June nail polish is never ending. I think I have about 30 colors at this point and have thrown out all of my other polishes because they just can’t compare. Gorgeous colors, 7-day wear, and they’re safe for pregnancy since they’re 7-free! This is definitely one of the best mother’s day gifts for millennial moms. Painting my nails is seriously one of the highlights of my week now. Who needs a salon?
